Your tasks, notes and personal lists in Daykeep are stored only on your device; you can delete them in the app or by uninstalling it.
If you used shared lists, you have a cloud account (anonymous or Google) and shared list data on the server.
Delete in the app
In Daykeep, tap Settings → Account → Delete account and shared data and confirm. Deletion happens immediately.
Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app:
- Email elitplanner@gmail.com with the subject "Daykeep account deletion".
- Send the request from the Google account address you signed in with.
If you only joined other people's lists (anonymous account, without Google sign-in), no email is needed: choose Leave on the list in the Lists screen and your membership and display name are deleted from the server immediately.
Requests are completed within 30 days.
Deleted
- Your cloud account (anonymous account or Google sign-in record: email and profile name).
- Shared lists you own: closed for everyone; the list, items, members and links are deleted from the server.
- Your membership and display name in lists you joined.
Kept
- Personal data on your device (until you delete it).
- Items you added to someone else's list remain in that list as content of its owner; you are no longer shown as the person who checked them.
- Daily totals without identifiers, and server logs kept for Google Cloud's default period.
